Ok, so a local student, Jo Jo, was kind enough to take Michelle, Guli, and me to the pier for Chinese seafood. Let me explain how Chinese seafood restaurants work... Do you see the picture of the tanks of fish and stuff? Well basically you go up to the lady standing in front of it, choose which live and flapping fish you are going to send to its doom, pick a preparation style, and then watch as a man with rubber boots climbs on top of the glass tanks to grab your meal.
yumm.Well actually it was delicious. The clams were delicious, the lobster was delicious, the scallops were delicious, and the sea snails were... yes I did say sea snails... Jo Jo wanted to make sure we had a taste of these scrumptious looking things so she ordered some just for us. Tastes just like chicken, or at least that's what I had to keep telling myself as a I ate it. But hey, I'm still alive to tell about it and now I can say I have eaten like a local!
Oh, and we all got to hold a lobster!
